I need the front seat hinge covers for my 1963 Chrysler. Since this car started life as a Chrysler police car, I have no idea what Chrysler product this part is from. I have a feeling that it probably is from a Plymouth or Dodge, since they were also used for police work. I did find a similar part in the Chrysler parts book that said it is a "Front Seat Outer Hinge Cover. My guess is that this part was commonly used on all lower cost Chrysler product cars, such as the Valiant, etc. It is held on with two screws, and the right hand cover is longer than the left hand cover. If you look closely, you will find a part number cast into the plastic on the back side of the part. This part number is 2080954 (R) 2080955 (L). It is made of a green gold plastic. I don't know if it was available in any other color, but I can use whatever you might have, since mine are damaged. Thanks for your help in getting this car back together.

I have posted this on some MoPar/Chrysler forums, but since not everyone reads these other forums, I figure that additional exposure to old car hobbyist might help. Thanks Junk...

Hey Junk....I've had this site bookmarked. You might want to check it or maybe sign up to the Online Swapmeet site. All Mopars. Maybe you'll get lucky there. http://mapleleafmopars.homestead.com/

Thanks for the information. I just signed up there, and will need to learn more about the site before I post.
I did figure out this evening that this part was used on mostly Plymouth, Dodge, and DeSoto of the era. When the weather breaks and it gets warmer, I will need to start hunting the junk yards..
thanks again... Junk...
