Hi all,
I am new to this forum so please bear with me if I make any mistakes.
I just got a Benwil TP9 for free but it came without a baseplate or the diamond plate cover that goes over it. Does anyone out there have the dimensions of the baseplate ie. what size steel, spacing on bolt holes size of bolt holes etc.
I have looked at some photos and it looks like the square steel is solid but I have no idea what size or length it is. I also need to know what the spacing is between the posts.
A user manual installation would be nice also.
any help would be much appreciated.
Bob

Hello
I am in the process of installing a tp 7 . I believe they are the same size . I can take measurements of mine if you'd like . I also am looking for a manual . Mine is a chain type.
Older but solid.

I have a pdf of the tp7 install manual, it is the cable type but it would be a good start for you. MY lift is the chain type too. I will upload the install manual tomorrow it is at work. Yes I would love the dimensions of the mounting plate.

Here is a pdf of the TP-7 istallation manual hope it helps other people here. I am also including a picture of the dimensions I need for my lift if any one has them thanks. Unfortunatley my pdf is almost 2 mb it is to big for this site so if someone knows how to get it uploaded let me know or you could PM me and I could email it to you.

I Am getting close getting it done .

The base is very heavy 2x2" stock . The outsid legs are 4' the inside ones are flush with base . The tabs are welded on the square stock, a little higher .

Gutts That is awesome. I feel ya on figuring out how to upload pictures. I think I figured out what you were showing me. I quess the only other thing I need is what is the over all width of the mounting plate without the tabs, and are those tabs 3/4 or 1 inch thick. I am assuming those angle oieces on the inside of the frame are about 1/3 the width and are the same thickness as the mounting tabs. Also where did you find a manual for adjusting the chain. I only have a manual for a tp7 with a cable.

oh forgot to ask, did you get your lift up and running. Any thing I should know before I start other than how heavy it is? Believe me I already know!
