Looking at Northern Tool for a new compressor. They have a Quincy 60 gal advertising low rpm operation of 3450 which I thought might be a misprint but only 15 com @ 90psi. Sitting beside it is a IR ss5n model with I believe 17+ com @ 90 same rpm but made in China pump. I lean toward the quincy based on what I believe to be us quality but the higher cfm of the IR is a strong sale(and cheaper by $500). I m a auto hobbyist and either us a big step up. I'm not trying to start another IR/Quincy thread but will I regret giving up cfm for the quincy namesake? Please chime in.
