Good evening all,

Looking for ideas on how best to place a slab against this splash board and make a pseudo retaining wall around the outside.

I was thinking of digging out the rest of the dirt around the perimeter and running strips of plywood around the perimeter as an exterior form so I could end up with a ~6" wide retaining wall around the perimeter. Towards the back end of the building, it's ~24" or so to level ground and I've already sunk 10 or so #5s the middle of the built up pad with the intention of having a retaining wall on the back end. Also looks like I can tie in the retaining wall to the slab rebar.

I'd think this splash board will rot out over time, not sure that it'll matter but if it does, what could I coat this with? Strips of visquene or a type of paint?

Thanks in advance for the wisdom & advice & happy Thanksgiving ya'll
