Need dry bagged sand: Blasting Sand?

I'm repairing concrete using Abatron liquid epoxy. The process is to mix it with dry aggregate to increase volume and strength. The kits they sell only come with very very fine sand ... the last time I used it for a project I was able to get "blasting sand" from a local masonry supply company (now closed). They sold it in bags of various screened sizes -- from fine to small stones. The key is it was bone dry ... epoxy requires no moisture.

What kind of supplier would sell this ?

Hello, Lowes sells play sand for childrens sand box, it is fine and should be dry.

You can get pool filter sand at a pool supply store. The last time I bought sand at HD or Lowes, it was not dry. In my experience, pool filter sand is usually dry and has larger grains than the play sand.

Can "stone dust" be used...this would be the last step for interlocking brick pavers. My recollection of it was superfine and very dry.

It seems with regulation changes -- and industry changes .... sand is not really used as it once was in blasting.

it's always something .... I don't need all that much. Guess I could bake it in the oven for a day

Years ago Home Depot would sell sand in paper type bags (like cement) vs plastic. The paper type paper was dryer for my blasting needs.

If you don't need much, just buy play sand and let it dry on your driveway on a tarp for a day. There won't be that much moisture

My local lumber yard/builder's supply has blasting sand. Most larger cities should have a mason's supply that would also have it.

I filled a few baking pans and put them on my gas grill until they each got to about 300 degrees. I first started with the oven until I got that look from my wife and moved outside to the grill.
