I need to get a dust collector pipe from the red building to the wood building. I have a dust collector in the red building already and want to extend to the other building. What are your recommendations? I thought about running it under the steps and covering the exposed part between the buildings with dirt and ramp it up so you can still walk through between the buildings. Then I could put an exposed clean out under the steps. Any tips or suggestions?

You could probably go to Harbor Freight and buy another dust collector cheaper and easier. They get good reviews.

I don't have enough amperage in there to run another dust collector. I want to keep the draw to a minimum.

Hf dust collector and a heavy gauge extension cord from the main house. Will both be running at the same time or something?

I only have a 20 amp circuit in that building. I also don't want to waste space in there for another dust collector. I have lathes in the building. The mini is not too bad but the shopsmith pops the breaker if I try to turn on my dust collector. I guess I may have to rethink this project. I could bury some uf wire from the garage I suppose. I have a great 2hp dust collector in the main garage.

It is certainly possible. However consider you will be sucking probably several 100cfm out of one building and dumping it in the other so both will have airflow and pressure considerations especially if heated.

Static Pressure of the run over that distance may be an issue. How many gates in the second building?

Pvc pipe with ground thru it to avoid static explosion.

Put dust collector on a remote control or run a switch into the second building.
