Need Garage Lighting

First, let me start by mentioning a few things. I currently am in a rental where our 2 car garage has 2 standard light bulbs above where a car would park. I do not have any lighting up towards the garage door and that is where my work bench is. Second, all I know about lighting and electrical is how to plug in a cord and screw in a light bulb and I'm not willing to try and wire something in this house since I do not own it. :shocking:

With that being said, is there anything decent I can get that does not require lighting so I could take it with me when we move (I'm thinking something similar to some florescent shop lights)?

Thanks for any help!

There are dozens of variations of these types of lights sold at the big box stores:

Prices are all over the place depending on quality and features.

This one just plugs in, has a pull switch and you take with when you leave. Screw an adaptor into your existing light sockets with or without the current bulb in place. In the existing bulb holders use large watt CFL bulbs to increase the overall light in the garage for a low cost, no change to fixtures, wiring, reversible etc.
