It is THE best nail puller available. It will even grab nails with heads sunk below the surface of the wood. This is the tool that guys use for opening up large wooden shipping crates at the docks. Essential for the one stubborn nail that's holding up an entire load.

I picked up a Vaughn 19 ounce California Framer at Walmart tonight for $15 on sale. It would be worth a trip by the local Wallyworld to check them out. Even at regular price ($20) it's still a deal. Really nice USA made hammer.

I have an Estwing "Big Blue" framing hammer. It's big (long). I absolutely love it. I use it mainly for demo work honestly....it's the first thing I grab for tearing down sheds/buildings or breaking apart pallets.
