I need a battery charger/maintainer for my two old cars, which I drive occasionally and can sometimes sit for a month or more. I use standard lead acid batteries for both (Interstate, as the customer service from Sears is now unbearable, but that's a separate topic).

I've narrowed it down to: (1) CTEK 3300, (2) Schumacher PSC-12500A DSR, (3) Optima 400, and (4) Snap-on EEBM500.

Which should I choose and why? Thanks!

Not familiar with the battery tenders you have listed but I have a simple Black & Decker one that I purchased at Wal-Mart.

I think it was about $20 and I have had it for about 9 years. I wasn't expecting a whole lot given the price bit it simply does what it is supposed to and was cheap and is still going strong.
