I'm wanting to pick up a small set of Vessel JIS screwdrivers to work on my wife's 2007 Acura MDX. What sizes do I need? Looking at a set of 3 that contains #1,#2, and #3 drivers.

TIA,
Tony

Call me Crazy, but look at the tip of a JIS screwdriver compared to american phillips. The JIS tip is identical to the Harbor Freight #2 Phillips that I and other members rave about. They just seem to fit screws better. I use it to work on my Honda Motorcycle and my wife's Hyundai.
here's the comparison

Vessel is a great screwdriver.

#1 and #2 are the most used on any application. You're probably more likely to come across a #0 than a #3, but the #3 is probably better to have because it's going to be high torque and will need the best fit. Anything with a #0 you can get by with a standard Philips.

Or get the #0 and have a complete set.

I love my Vessel screwdrivers. Currently they are my most used screwdrivers because they fit the JIS screws used in the stuff I fix at work AND they also fit standard phillips screws. I use the #1 and #2 screwdrivers the most. I really like the Vessel Megadora series.

The exclusive North American distributor for Vessel Tools is JDV Products http://www.vesseltools.com. They frequently sell JIS screwdriver sets at a lower price than buying them individually.

I have a Vessel #2 and #3 which I purchased from Mcmaster. I use them all the time on the Japanese CNC machines we have at work. You wouldn't think you'd need the #3, but it's funny how the JIS screws look smaller than they actually are. Nice screwdrivers. Comfy handle. Distinctive. Hold onto screws like crazy. Still need to pick up a #0 and #1.
