Is anyone by chance a member of https://forum.shopsmith.com or knows how to contact an admin over there? I’ve got a shopsmith I’m going to be restoring and figured there’d be a lot of useful information on that forum since it’s dedicated to shopsmiths. I did the registration but am not getting the activation email. I tried registering with two different email accounts and am still not getting the activation email. It says to contact an administrator but you can’t contact an administrator unless you’re a registered member so I’m about to just give up on it.

Thank you, but unfortunately it won’t let me comment on the post or message them directly without being a registered member. I’ve seen other comments of people running into similar issues. Seems like a stupid setup. From what I’ve found there is no way to contact them and they are the ones that would have to fix it lol. One guy posted that he was only able to get in touch with the admins though someone that was already a member. I guess i can still research through the posts, just won’t be to interact or ask questions.

I did check the junk folder, also tried registering with another email address, and had it resend the activation email multiple times. Nothing seems to work. And like i said you have to be an activated member to post comments or email the admins so basically you can’t become a member unless you’re already a member. Or if you happen to find someone that can reach out on your behalf. But thanks for everyone’s help and advice. Kind of a long shot at this point, but maybe the right person will come along.

Thank you for this. I reached out to them. I was thinking that the forum was separate from the actual business so this might be the clue to the puzzle I was missing. Simple but I should have put that together. I appreciate everyone for helping though.
