I’ve searched and searched and all I can come up with is that this number is discontinued. I’m having trouble finding a cross reference to an aftermarket motor. 120v 1 speed 3/4 horse 1100rpm 51-102995-01. Any help out there so I can get my unit running again? Should I be searching any of the other numbers? IMG_4716.jpeg

AO Smith FDL6002A

It will come with the Rheem mounting holes so you can use the Rheem motor mounts.

A quick Google shows the Rheem OEM motor in stock several places. (I realize they might be lying!)
Thanks for your help on this! What part number should I be using in my search for the Rheem? I’ve been using the 51-102995-01?

I see the substitute unit you linked is variable speed, unlike my original motor. I assume like 12v DC it won’t matter as the control panel dictates speed through voltage/ amps.

The substitute I showed is a four speed motor, it is not a variable speed. I used to work at a HVAC wholesaler and we sold this motor for Rheem/Ruud. I also used to work for a Ruud dealer so very familiar with the motor you are looking for. The FDL6002A will work.

The 51-102995-01 part number is what I looked for on Google.

Any places to avoid when purchasing? I’ll need to order online.

Check your motor dimens against this attached info.

Supplyhouse and zoro also show it for sale.

You can shop for lowest price or fastest delivery with the part number @PoorUB provided.

Since its a psc motor frame size 48, 1/2" shaft, 1100 rpm, amps 9.6 rotation cw shaft end.
When purchasing a aftermarket motor don't go by hp alone. If the new motor has .1 amp less than old motor by the next size up. Your case 1 hp. They sell belly band mounts that can be adapted to your squirrel cage. While motor is out wash the blower wheel with dish soap. Wheel dirty the ac coil probably dirty also. Buy a capacitor with the new motor. Local motor shop should have everything you need. If all they have is a 4 speed just cap the extra speeds off individually.

Sure, you can do that, but Rheem uses a larger diameter blower wheel and most belly band mounts will not fit as the hole in the side of the blower housing is larger than most. Easiest is to buy a motor with Rheem mount holes in the case of the motor, or the OEM motor. We did stock a larger belly band mount that would fit the Rheem housing, but I can not find the part number.

The motor that Supply House shows is some odd after market brand. At least the one I show is an AO Smith.
