Any help would be much appreciated, got a vintage Delta Bench Grinder 23-105 from my uncle, it worked but the light bulbs blew as soon as you turned the grinder on so I rewired the whole thing with grounds and it does the same thing the light bulbs blow as soon as you turn it on. Grinder works great outside. Not sure if i have done wires mixed up or what. I attached some pics so if anyone has any ideas it would be great. Thank you

Sketching out what you believe the wiring to be versus a picture would probably help too

Yes, we need a schematic of how you wired it. I don't know of any scenario where a 120VAC light bulb would blow regardless of how you connected it. (assuming the grinder is wired for 115 vs 230 VAC). Is there excessive vibration?

Wait a minute, we all just played this game for someone else.

See near the end for a suggested wiring diagram for a different switch.

Also, is it plugged into 115 or 230, see it can go both ways on the nameplate?

Man, that picture is just showing off. Both guards present, both bulbs working on each side, a dream machine there.

It’s just missing the bottom metal plate the protects all the wires, will prob have to make one unless someone happens to have one Laying around somewhere,
