Hi
I have a 1951 Sears 103.23141 15” Drill Press. It suffered some damage and I bent the Spindle Assembly (part number 27130) marked 28 on the drawing.
I am looking for ideas on how to fix this problem. I think somebody may have a piece that would fit. It is a King Seeley make and maybe all the 15” drills made by this company are the same??? Or maybe somebody knows of a moder spline shaft that fits??
I have been thinking about straightening this shaft, but it is a bad bend. It may not be possible. Also, I don’t know what this drill press is worth, but I need a shaft that makes some economic sense.
What cha think??
