Hi, The Push Button switch went bad on my 75 Gal fluorescent light, It has 2 bulbs if that matters that are 4 ft long each. I am going to take it apart today to see what it looks like but though my searches not much is coming up. The switch is black. I see different volts and amps listed, I want to make sure I do it right. Thank you

I took it apart and put WD40 in it and it is working perfectly again. It looks like the one in this link, but it is a push on push off and the wires has 300 V Imprinted on it. All the ones I am finding say 12V RV switch.

You said the one you were looking at was a three wire 12V. Momentary switch?? Definitely the wrong one. I’m sure you know as you already questioned the voltage that this is incorrect, second you said “momentary” and it’s a normally open switch. That means the power through the switch will not flow til you hold it momentarily meaning a brief moment not for hours or days. I’m sure you would be happier with a on off roll switch or push iron type normally closed type, rocker type etc.

I'd be careful spraying anything into an electrical switch.
