I have a project that I need 2 springs to pull a handle. I found the one in the pic but can’t remember where it came from. I gave up last year trying to find another that is similar. Now I need it. I remember looking everywhere and I couldn’t find one or something similar. Does anyone know of a source for a spring like what I’m showing? It can be a little different but this one works perfect I’ve bought several but the tension and length of this one is the best so far. Thanks a bunch for any help.

I have stuff like that from when I dismantled a copy machine or printer.
Seriously. How much of a hurry you in?
If you send me a p.m. i can take a picture with the springs and a ruler using my phone and text you. (Posting pictures on GJ befuddles me.) This weekend work?

Home Depot and Lowes both have pretty good spring assortments. Tractor Supply also. Otherwise McMaster Carr but you might have to buy a pack of 25 or so.

Look in the electrical section of your local Ace Hardware store . Your spring looks just like the springs used to hold the trim ring on older ceiling light fixtures.

Needs to be a lot stronger than a throttle return spring. I’m going to have to see if I can figure out a way to measure the strength of the one I have. Thanks everyone for trying to help.

I have a few that are a little smaller diameter but may work for your purpose. They have enough length to customize. I didn't do a pull test but they are much stronger than a throttle spring.

You could get a handheld fish scale to rate it they are cheap enough
