If both ends of the connector are pig-tailed, replace them with something that's easier to find....

I say go this route also.

Since you already have access to the one end, you can easily replace both ends with a simple three wire connector set that you can find almost anywhere.

Also, there is a very good chance that an aftermarket three wire connector set will cost a LOT less than the one from Ford. If you have your heart set on an OEM connection, then you will probably have to buy both sides of the connector set, as most of these come as a complete set.

The motorcraft service pigtail chart will have that in it with a part number
I have the chart at work. I can look when I get there tonight if the OP hasn't found it by then.

Ford and GM are fairly good as far as offering repair pigtails connectors. Chrysler, however is not--at least they werent 10 years ago when I worked for them.

It's one of these two connectors. Honestly don't see a difference between the two. This will at least give you the ford part numbers. The part number is the number on the bottom, starting with 3U.

If it is a high failure rate part, many of those a after market products available at any parts store.

Last I knew ford only sold the wire inserts, and then the shell of the connector. Maybe it is different now.

Maybe f you could post what it connects to, it would help.

My bad, neglected to read where you said you needed the end it plugs into. Try this:
Ford part number 3U2Z-14S411-GGA

Hope this helps.

This on the left is the one side

Or wpt446 or wpt459 is the side you pictured up top
Of the two part numbers I listed I can't see a physical difference
