need help from photo shop guys

I am working on redoing my logo for my new business cards. but i have not experience with photo shop and the like. got this far with paint. but the angle still looks like ****. i would really appreciate it if someone could help me out. I am fine with the font being changed also as long as it is easily read. thanks again.

I have a resale business. recently loss my store and have restarted at the flea market level. currently I have a connection for shelf-pulls and resale them for half of retail. word is spreading around here quickly that my prices are crazy low. sometimes lower than wholesale. mostly hats sunglasses, low cost jewelry ashtrays etc.

I would love to change my business logo (also my avatar) a little. Rather than ask for help, is there a simple software or the like where I could do it?

I made it on a website that is still accesible but no longer works. I'd like to tinker with a few different changes.
