Need help getting down a fluorescent fixture

Not too long ago the sockets on my fluorescent fixture broke.

So I figured, no big deal and got some replacement sockets to install in the fixture.

I went to try and pull the fixture down to install them, but I can't get the stupid thing off the ceiling.

It seems like I should just be able to snap off the bottom metal plate and be able to access everything, but I can't get it off no matter how hard I pull on it.

It feels like it's going to rip out of the ceiling before it'll ever come off.

It's in a really hard to get to location, so I used my borescope to take a few pictures.

I'm sure this is laughably easy, but I just can't figure out how to get it down.

Is there some trick? Is the bottom part of the fixture supposed to just snap off? Or is there some other easy way that I'm totally missing?

sorry for the poor quality pictures but here they are:

Press the embossed bumps on the fixture on both sides,(There should be a twin set on the other side) & the reflector should be able to be removed.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot tomorrow! I tried squeezing a little there today, but it wouldn't budge. Now that I know that's what you do, I'll go all out trying haha.
