Need Help Identifiying a Jun-Air Compressor

The label has melted and is illegible. This is used for a toilet on a motorhome, I need to rebuild it.

According to their website, they are for use in dental and medical offices. That likely means that its going to be very expensive to repair or replace.

Yeah, it is from a very expensive Prevost motorcoach. Dad wants it fixed regardless; it is very quiet. He has deeper pockets than I!!!

Looks a bit like a Jun-Air 3-4 motor but I could be wrong. Have a look at the Jun-Air site and you will see something similar if not identical




Most likely a dental/lab compressor. And, yes, compressors for this field are crazy expensive. My wife's last one - not a Jun-Air - was $6000.

That looks just like the "motor" on my Jun Air 6-4.

There's a Jun Air distributor for parts in Louisiana, I've had mine for a long time and it's the coolest air compressor you'll ever lay your hands on.

They use the same compressor head on most of their models, they just multiply the number of heads to get a bigger compressor.

FYI - The oil that the head requires must be distilled from Unicorn Tears based on the price.

This is the aftermarket version I picked up from Amazon, it's a lot cheaper and has worked well.

I did look at Jun Air's site; they look just like mine(but are they really, especially the guts?). I want to try to rebuild this unit if it's feasable.
