Hello, I need help identifying this tool, I have a suspicion that it's an aviation tool since the brand seems to be geared towards that. It's stamped "Magnavon 3124-65-5/16" and is about 6" in length. I'm wondering what is it and what it does. Can't find any info online so any information is appreciated, thanks and have a good day!

It's for cutting off Hi-loc collars most have a Parker.401 taper to use in a rivet gun. If your not familiar, Hi-loc collars thread on until a specified torque, then the drive hex shears off the collar. The Hi-loc fastener is interference fit into the hole, so it doesn't have a head you can grip to remove, although there is a small internal hex in the tail in case the fastener spins during installation. Mostly used in shear applications

Yep, it’s a collar cutter. I guess it could also be used for a lockbolt, jobolt, hi-lok, or any other swage-type pin collar aerospace fastener used over the years, depending on the fastener size .
