I'm hoping the GJ Hive -Mind can help me learn more about this Craftsman tool box I recently acquired. The original seller didn't have any info to share other than it was a gift from his wife and it may have been purchased at Lowes. While it looks similar to current production models, it's 24" deep rather than 18". I'd like to know if a bottom cabinet is (was) available for this model. My searches to date have not yielded any results. If I can locate a 27"W 24" deep bottom, then I'll use it to replace my smaller craftsman set. Thoughts?IMG_8446.jpegIMG_8447.JPEG

Is there a sticker on the inside of one of the drawers? If it's still there and readable it will have the model number.
Sears Craftsman will have 9- then a number and SBD will have CMST followed by a number

I'll double check the drawers for model numbers. Here is what was on the back:

It could quite possibly be one of the last Sears/Craftsman models. The darker shade of a red paint and the missing “Made in USA with Global Materials” decal is a dead giveaway.

Look for decals on the inside of the drawers.

I doublechecked the drawers and none have labels.

Has anyone seen a bottom box 27"W and 24"D from any other manufacturers?

There may be sticker under the bottom drawer stuck to the inside bottom of the box
Have to remove the bottom drawer from the slides to be sure.
