Need Help Identifying Craftsman Tool Chest

I purchased a nice 6 wheel tool lower and Upper tool chest. However, the stickers that are supposed to be in the drawer for the model number are missing, and of course, there is no other indication as to what the model number is. If you look in the pictures you can see the ends that cover the exposed aluminum handles is missing on a few, it is a black cap, and I am looking to find those and a few new rails as 2 drawers need new rails. I tried talking to Craftsman and found out they were NOT made by Waterloo, as when I spoke to Waterloo and gave them the lock number they stated nope, not ours it was by Craftsman. So here I am, trying to identify a Toolchest, with no numbers, and Craftsman says they have no clue. If you need drawer specs and dimensions of box I can provide, but I am stuck right now.

Your setup is modern and most defintely does not fit into the "vintage" forums. I'm not saying there's not anyone here capable (or willing) to identify it, just that you might have better luck posting in the "general tool" forums. Good luck!

If it is newer than why didn't Waterloo make it? That is my issue, is that Waterloo didn't make it. So, new, but not made by waterloo, will post in general then.

I think in the last 10-15 years sears was also importing boxes from China. Not sure when it started but that looks like a basic box store toolbox from very recent times...

Agreed.

Sears went away from Waterloo many years ago. It wasn't until last year - after Stanley purchased the Craftsman brand - that Craftsman boxes started coming from Waterloo Iowa once again.

Unfortunately, there's not many people who are collecting these so research is poor. I have no opinion on the quality, just no experience.

Are those boxes 52" wide? Going to guess they may be in the 5000 series. Logos are now "old" since Craftsman has used a larger style (with a border) for some years now.

Wow, that picture is almost dead on to what I have.

The top box measures 52 1/8", and the bottom box is 52 3/4" wide. So I guess it could be called a 52" box...
