Was posted elsewhere will delete and post here.

I purchased a nice 6 wheel tool lower and Upper tool chest. However, the stickers that are supposed to be in the drawer for the model number are missing, and of course, there is no other indication as to what the model number is. If you look in the pictures you can see the ends that cover the exposed aluminum handles is missing on a few, it is a black cap, and I am looking to find those and a few new rails as 2 drawers need new rails.

I tried talking to Craftsman and found out they were NOT made by Waterloo, as when I spoke to Waterloo and gave them the lock number they stated nope, not ours it was by Craftsman. So here I am, trying to identify a Toolchest, with no numbers, and Craftsman says they have no clue. If you need drawer specs and dimensions of box I can provide, but I am stuck right now.

Ok, so I have a friend who was able to create the plastic pieces I needed using a 3D printer. Now the other thing I need to do, where can a person find slides for toolboxes? I have tried searching, but I don't see to find any that make replacement easy to understand. I want to replace what came with the toolbox with silent self-closing slides.

I know I probably won't be able to do this easily, but am looking for any guidance I can get on this project. This is all new to me. I have never owned a toolbox before and am just starting and want to make a beautiful box. Thank you for whatever idea's, options, or help you can give!

Yeah, here are the pictures, if you see numbers let me know LOL. If it had numbers anywhere on them I would have no issues trying to find replacements. Would taking them off the side of the toolbox and see if there were numbers on that side of the rail help?

Taking them off might help. Even if they have numbers it's no guarantee that they'll be available.

I ran into a dead end once on something similar. A Cornwell box not made by Cornwell.

Which Craftsman did You talk to? I doubt the Stanley-B&D Craftsman would be of any help.

That box was made for the Sears Craftsman.. Give Sears a try..

Other than imported carts Cornwell only had three suppliers, Kennedy which they bought and before them it was Waterloo and Rem Line. As far as I know RemLine has been gone for along time. I think Rem Line was in Chicago but I doubt there is any parts for them for a long time.

There might be a part number on the inside edge of the rail. Worth a shot.

I'd take them off and go to a cabinet supply house. Chances are you can find a soft close slide with that weight capacity and do a little modification to get them to work.

Good luck.

Don't have a pic now, it's a 44" roller. Guessing 90's or newer.

Everybody I called said nope not ours. I thought remline too. Iirc Cornwell said it was an SK sourced box that they badged. I have seen another here in Phoenix.
