New here. Thanks for allowing me in to the group. While I'm just a shade-tree mechanic, my Dad was a life-long mechanic. He had a shop here in Portland, OR for quite a while before he passed, and his business partners still run that shop, so I've decided to keep my Dad's big tool boxes at the shop still, (since the shop will quite honestly get the most use out of them). I did get his old Snap On top box from his home garage, as well as an older Mac Tool Cart. I've spent days searching online for a similar looking Mac cart to no avail. There appears to be some cutouts on the top of of the plastic tub for attachments, which is the entire reason I'm hoping to find the specific model # for this cart. I'd like to see if there are options available for attachments for accessories. Mac Tools' website doesn't have anything resembling this, and I was surprised to learn they didn't have some sort of archived catalog section. If anyone knows either the model # or a database in which I might find the model #, I'd be most grateful. I don't mind doing my homework, and I did search before posting this. I've included pics and specs below. Thanks to any/all who might be willing to share some insights.

The cart's dimensions are 36" Wide x 18" Deep x 38.5" High
All 3 drawers are 26.75" Wide x 15" Deep x 4" High
There are warnings on it that each shelf can hold a max of 150lbs.
The drawers are slides and not ball bearing, (not sure if that makes a difference in identification, but I wanted to be as specific as possible).
Beyond that, I can find no info or model # anywhere, (checked all sides, inside the drawers, and inside the top of the plastic tub).

Hello and welcome. I've seen this cart with one drawer before for sure, but never saw one of these with three drawers. I can't help you on the model number. I'm guessing it was made in the '80s or '90s.

I can't help you on the product number, but I had the same exact cart when I worked at a new car dealership in the mid 90's. If I had to guess, I bought it in 1996 or 1997. The holes on the top/sides were for a lid, made from the same material, that could then be secured on the other end with a padlock.

They sold the cart separately, with the option to buy the drawers. I had one drawer in mine.

I did find this after searching google...

Thanks for the reply and the link. My guess is that Mac offered the "add a drawer" option on those carts and my Dad added 3. I sure appreciate the help.

Welcome to the forum from the shore of San Diego Bay. My family used to live in Portland and I went to elementary school there.

Three years late to the thread, but I just picked up the same exact one on Facebook market for 50 bucks and was also trying to find more information on itIMG_4173.png
