I need help identifying this old Quincy Compressor, that I've found for sale locally. I've studied up quite a bit on Quincy's as I'm always watching for deals to come up on the classifieds, but this one has me stumped....

What I can tell from the photos.
-Splash Lubricated
-Single Stage
-Bore/Stroke 3 1/2" x 3"
-2x intake and 2x exhaust valves
-unloaders on the intake valves, operated by from tank pressure

Just not sure what the model number is, so if anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

I've got it figured out, it's a Quincy Model 230. Had to look through quite a few photos to find one that looked like it. I think that the 15 that proceeds the S/N, means it's a Record of Change (ROC) 15. That also checks out with the "Model 230 Legend" file from Quincy which outlines the changes made at each ROC, because the 230 didn't get the pressure lube oil pump setup until ROC20.

The seller says it needs new gaskets, but I found rebuild kits are still available for this unit, so it should be repairable. I'm quite tempted to give the guy the $60 he's asking for it. Heck, the 5hp single phase motor and tank are worth the $60 alone.
