Need help Identifying some stuff.

Was digging through some stuff and cleaning some stuff up, found some stuff I need hep figuring out who made them/ what they are.

Found this in a tool box rusted solid, cleaned up in evapo-rust, but what I want to know is who made it, it has a square h or a circle t, couldn’t find anything about it.

Found this pre-historic Xcelite nut driver, but it says something like ”park metaware co. Inc” I have no idea what that means so if anyone does please do tell and if anyone knows the approximate year I would also like to know that.

Found this odd tool in a tool box, would love to know the purpose.

The pipe wrench is Craftsman made by Erie. Park Metalware is early Xcelite as you deduced. I’m not sure about the red handle tool.

Park Metalware Company was started in 1921. "Xcel" was an early brand name for all kinds of tools, not nut drivers. In fact, they didn't start making nut drivers until decades later, branded "Xcelite". Just like Champion DeArment, makers of pliers branded "Channellock", the nut drivers and the brand name became so widely-known, eclipsing awareness of the company name, that they changed it.

That red handled tool looks like a tool used when working on Drum brakes to compress a spring and turn a disk that holds on the spring.

The red handle driver is for 'escutcheon' nuts. Round retaining nuts with no hex, just two small slots for a driver to install and remove. You may have seen them on toggle switches or automobile headlight switch.

The same company just a different design.
The Craftsman is a heavy duty pipe wrench like these Erie examples.
This Erie is a Stillson design pipe wrench.

Yep, I'm familiar with them, wore out a few. At first glance the tool in question looked like one of these.

First up is a pair of brake spoons, I think the right one is an indestro, but not sure on the left one.

Got this coping saw from the auction on Saturday, says powr-kraft, would like to know who made it for them.


And finally is this 1/2 drive speed handle, no brand and the metal is like textured, no markings.

I'm going to guess Bonney, due to the lower grip style. I've got one where both grips look like that. A little Google image searching pulled this one up.

Possibly corrosion. Nice even rust pitting, perhaps?

It's got a bit of an Evaporust hue to it.

As a rule of thumb, only prewar and wartime S-K flex handles are unmarked. As soon as WW2 ended they went to the diamond S-K marking. Here are some genuine S-K flex handles.
I suspect that Tommy’s is an unmarked import.

I like the dull finish on the speeder. It's hard to tell from the photos, but it might have some sort of dull plating on it. I wouldn't wire wheel it, personally.

The handles look like a bonney, but its only 15in long while the ebay one is 19-3/4 long. And mine isn’t marked Bonney anywhere, and the search continues.

Here’s some new stuff from that need IDed.

This wrench that I believe to be an Indestro.


This is a double 1/2 drive female walden Worcester swivel, what is it for?


This wrench is kind of weird, no brand, just numbers, I think it might be a Mossberg? I could be wrong.


I think this is some sort of adaptor, its 1/2 female on one end and 3/8 female on the other. I don’t think there is any brand but it’s pretty rusty.

The Select Steel marked wrench is made by Indestro, as you suspected. Can I see the entire tool with the numbers? Those 41-W- numbers are Federal Stock Numbers assigned by the military to tools.

You can turn an impact socket with a 9/16 ratcheting wrench.
