Buffer/belt sander. Has Hart riveted to the front of the stand. Two motors with a reversing switch to run power. Belt sander is cast with “Wall HV-436” 110 volt and she works! The buffer is twin belt driven to pillow bearings holding the shaft.

I could Not bid, right?

Thanks for any insight!

That's home rolled in my opinion! It looks like a Delta stand with a plate added to the front. The reversing switch, does it switch back and forth between the two motors? I am guessing someone who liked to make knives.

The buffer section looks like it has a speed control down on the bottom box. Those are wide buffing wheels (ganged up singles) Must be at least 2HP but 5HP would power it better. I've seen similar set ups that were manufactured for the musical instrument field, buffing trumpets, trombones, saxes etc. The shaft should be longer, the one I've seen had a 4' shaft so the buffers were far away from the big body.
