Hello everyone,
I happened to stumble across this site, while researching jack stands. After, browsing around and seeing many of you have rebuilt/restored your US made jack, it inspired
me to search for one so I can pass it on to my son…..Finally, found this one and it is very simply designed but are rock solid
. However, I think it is a Milwaukee Model 40 (24” lift height) but just can’t confirm it as there are no marking or labels left
.
I would like to repair/rebuilt it myself first
, but if it’s too much for me then a pro could be utilized
. Also, if you happen to have some instructions on how to repair/rebuild this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

but the balls are still visible. What is the easiest way of extracting them without damaging the threads so new fitting could be installed without going through the whole drilling and retapping the lift arm???
