Need help identifying this floor lift

My old Surelift floor lift went south recently and I found this one on craigslist. The guy told me it was a NAPA and said it's 2 1/2 ton. The label on top is gone and I can't find any markings (yet). I would think something this size is closer to a 3 1/2 ton. It measures 29 1/2" long and it's lifting tray is 5.5" diameter. It weighs 85# without the handle. I've been searching old and vintage jack images to see if I could find it but haven't had any luck so far. The thing that stands out on this one is the fender looking rear wheel braces. Definitely not a common design. I'm not saying the guy I bought it from is wrong, but I'd like to know what I've got if I need to repair it sometime down the road. Thanks for any ideas or comments. Maybe post a pic so we can see what you are talking about? By floor lift, do you mean floor jack? When I think of a lift, I think of a 2 post or 4 post or a motorcycle lift/platform.

Looks similar, but not identical to my fifty year old Sears made in Japan 2 1/2 ton jack, painted blue instead of green.

The jack itself does have a bit of a unique look to it. I would have guessed it was newer then that with that plunger setup.

At 85 lbs., it's probably 1.5 tons.
