Remline maybe

Remline do not have a lid with a cover that goes over the drawers, does not have those gussets on the bottom corners, have pointy outside edges on the part of the handles that are attached to the box, have different side handles.

I like oldtuleguy’s answer. Also, it is probably an older one based on the handle on the drawer cover.

If you can look for evidence of where the logo on the cover was, you can date it closer. If it was on the upper left, it was a transition box but pre ‘57. If the logo was in the upper middle, it was an earlier one. Late 40’s to whenever transition boxes started.

I know the early ones had riveted on badges. I don’t know how the transition boxes logos were attached. I would look for evidence of rivet holes.

Looking4galaxie67conv has one from before the transition boxes. The matching tambor door bottom box is really quite good looking.

It doesn't hurt that I have one

That is why I knew it wasn’t a Powr-Kraft. I went and looked at mine.

I looked at the bottom corners, handles, side handles…

My KR-56 would not help with the mystery… It is after the transition boxes. So, totally different drawer design. Handles that are part of the drawers. Not attached… it is no help.

My new rule for myself is no bulk storage on the bottom of the roll cabinets… but I would break that rule for a pretty enough vintage stack.

I wonder if this is an old Snap On KR-56 made for John Deere? (the color looks similar)
