Found this wrench at an estate sale. I thought it was a Ford wrench. I have the Identification number but I can't find any information about it.

Hope someone can steer me in the correct direction, or can identify it.

Thanks,

It has the right form for a "Set Screw" wrench. Designed to fit square head set screws that hole the tool bit (or tool bit holder) to the tool post of a lathe or metal shaper. Square head set screws were also used in industrial applications to lock pulleys and such onto shafts.

Here is a link to a photo on an Ebay ad of a similar Williams version. https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/Am8AAOSwWLFZnKO-/s-l1600.jpg

I ain't saying this is what is, just sayin it looks similar to the old logo for Westinghouse Air Brake Company. You'd see it on the side of railway brake handles all the time. They also had a T prefix on their numbers.

The first pic is one from the vault , I have better, including whole assemblies but they were liberated decades ago so they're all buried correspondingly deeper. Anyway, since the logo is so beat up rather than keep digging I pulled this better example off the internet.

View attachment 884189View attachment 884186 Uhhhh...Yeah Bro, W's and logos. You can see the W,V and T in the Woodings Verona Toolworks logo. Obviously the W is also a V in VW and the Westinghouse Air Brakes logo is a mirrored and intertwined W and an A. If it wasn't originally designed as a W and an A then it should have been, because 1. It works, and 2. That's what it looks like.
