Sickle bar guards. Blades go in the groove behind the pointy end and go back and forth. Got a small bar for an old Bolens in my shop I can take a close up pic of later.

Also heres a loose Case double one with a Smith blade for a cleaner view.

I do have a couple of them onw with the IH logo stamp. one with the IH part number and the last one is a Case.
