First of all, hello. I’m new here. Anytime I do search about a vice, I usually end up here so I thought I may as well sign up. I bought this one a few days ago and I can’t find a single casting mark anywhere. There are some small holes that appear to be where a tag was once attached. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's most likely a Chinacom import vise. With a new cost of about 80.00 to 100.00 depending on shipping. No actual help with the maker though

Chinese rotator vise sold under numerous brand names. That one is an older version- from when the mfr used bondo or similar to fill casting flaws.

Generally good user vises, but not particularly heavy duty.

you shouldn't need to have 5 posts to post a picture so maybe try the method i use. i click on the paperclip in the middle above where i'm writing my posts and attach a picture sort of like I would on an email.

i'm guessing you have a Chinese wonder vise, but I don't click on links of new members so i'll assume you have an older one that is border line a vintage vise.

yep that's why I joined GJ over 5 years ago cause almost all my tool searches sent me here.

while the quality of your CWV is probably not the best I have yet to find anybody that owns one that doesn't love theirs even if it's broken, welded or repaired or full of bondo.

welcome to GJ!!
