Hello,
I just picked up a new to me older compressor. It came from a coworkers dads house and was in a corner of the garauge with no tags and a broken crank. I am trying to figure out what pump it is. The most I can figure is its a Campbell Hausfeld off a Speedaire had a silver flywheel and the compressor body is green.
Every number or spec I have found on it.
Unit has a 3"bore 2" stroke
crankshaft has a vt-6
front bearing plate vt-0125
Case 0950 2
has a 28.3CID
10.5" height
9" body length body only
4" Cylinder jug height

As close as I have found is a Campbell Hausfeld VT235000 but am unsure. As near as I can tell that pump has a 2.75 bore, and updates to a VT47000 series
Any help would be appreciated.

I think you are correct. I just noticed there where 2 different sizes 1 of them is a 2.75 piston and there is also a 3'' piston version. I did not notice that at first. Thank you for the help. It is greatly appreciated.

Thought I would post back. I found the model it is a 2Z630B. There are 2 models that are identical in size and stroke but the 2Z499 has a 2.75 bore and the 2Z630 has a 3" bore.

I have a Craftsman compressor with that pump. We bought it around 1973. It has a serpentine-type belt with many small grooves and a 3hp/3400 RPM motor. I had to rebuild the pump around 2005 due to high oil consumption, and it was hard to find some of the parts then.

I upgraded the air filter to eliminate the pads and use a paper air filter like your photos show.
