Hey guys, new here, picked up this Snap-on top box off a local guy for $120 Canadian, having a hard time figuring out exactly what model and approx year it is, I did find a stamping on the rear but searches aren't coming up with anything, I'm not a snapon collector or anything, so I don't know my way around these well, thanks for the time.

You did very well. That's a nice box in excellent condition for a great price. I don't know what the model is (guessing the 359 denotes a model no.) but Snap On did make a five drawer chest like that in the states back in the '70s and early '80s, KR 533.

Looks similar to the KRA2055. Probably mid 80's or newer. Snap-on Canada exported a lot of boxes overseas to England and Australia. Might be different numbering on those boxes.

i don't know jack **** but my wild guess is that the "in" may stand for industrial as in snap-on industrial. it may have been part of a special order or set for government or industrial use. if i am wrong, which i very well may be, then ignore my comment.
