I picked this Matco toolbox up yesterday for $800, and it was full of tools. It has a few dents and scrapes but for a beginning tech such as myself it was a deal too good to pass up. The only problem is I can't find the model # to get a new lock for it. Can anyone help or recognize it? Thanks

I can't help with a model number, but that was a common as hell box for Matco. Late 80's vintage I'd guess. Any Matco dealer worth a damn should be able to figure it out pretty easy.

Look it over real well, it should be stamped or have a plate on it somewhere that has the model number on it.

Unfortunately it's old enough to have completely worn all the markings off the # plate. I'll call matco soon, hopefully they can help. Thanks!

Looks like a MB1320. I sold Matco from 1990-1993, and that was the smallest wide box they made back then. There would have been a small metal plate attached to the rear with model and serial number. Matco made a MB1310 top box also. My catalog doesn't list the height, but should be ± 51-1/2" wide and 21-3/16" deep.
