Need help IDing this small rolling cabinet.

Picked this bad boy up from an auction for $2 with the contents that I didn’t know where in it. It had a router on it but they took it off and sold it separately. It’s 18” wide, 12” deep and 26” tall not including the wheels. It has 1 shelf and the door has some spots for peg board hooks it looks like.No markings other than a sweet vintage Mac tools sticker. Any help is appreciated.

That cabinet looks very much like an early SUN automotive test and tune lower cabinet. I like it.

no help on make. but I don;t think the holes are for peg board hooks. part of the stiffener to reduce some weight & maybe add a muffler for when the door gets hit?

Funny you should say that. Yesterday I was at an estate sale that had a whole crapload of cheap rolling and other toolboxes. One looked just like one I bought for my dad back when I was 18. Seeing it later in life was sort of horrifying, how poor quality it was.

It seems too well built to be a cheapie, it’s definitely got some gravity and has very nice “Bassick” brand casters.
