Need Help Indentifying This Ratchet...

1/2" Drive unmarked Ratchet with a unique direction selector... It reminds me of something that Indestro would have made in the 1930's, but I can't seem to find another one to compare. Perhaps it is German? I'm sure somewhere here will know right away.

Walden Worcester.
equivalent to a model # 1150, but lacking any markings.
the consensus here is that unit was manufactured to fill a contract (perhaps military, perhaps private label)

Looks like an old Walden from the late 40's-early 50's, although the red markings are throwing me off. Possibly 1150 series?
