I’m installing a garage door opener and I’m having a hard time finding a center bracket for my door. The panel from top to bottom is 21”. If anyone has any idea’s or link to order the proper stile I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much for your time and help.

1. Lower the bar, it's only there to support the door as it raises & lowers. Yours is mounted too high.

2. Put in a jack shaft opener.

The GD opener you have (?) would include a 'center bracket'. The opener kit should have everything that you need. Note the door bracket included with your GD opener mounts directly to the white part of the center of your door panel. Just follow the instructions. Otherwise, many hardware stores (Home D*pot, Low*s, etc, etc, have PDF installation instructions the you can view online.

Just need a piece of square tube to span the gap between the two center supports, bolt it on than attache the bracket that came with the opener to the new cross piece dead center . been there , done this.

Was thinking along the same lines with a piece of angle iron, the kind with holes in it.

I think the problem may be that they mounted the strut at the very top of the panel, IMO that should be at the center of the top panel. The 21" center reinforcement bracket is pretty common.

I think you are on the right track here. I see they also make an adjustable one. Should solve the issue:

Sorry, I failed notice that you're working with a 'single skin' door (which I've never owned). You definitely need to follow the advice of those above.
