So i am looking at buying a snapon SS box a guy has but wants 2k for it, for my home garage, seems a bit steep for what it is, any thoughts on other options thinking something in the 56" + range, I would like to stay around 1,000 if possible. Thoughts?

Thanks

The Harbor Freight 56" box gets very good reviews and is generally considered to be a bargain. Note that I don't own one myself, but I would seriously consider purchasing one. The box runs about $800.

More than half of the 300+ guys where I work have bought the Harbor Freight "US General tool" boxes 46, 56, and 72 inch. I have heard no complaints about any of them. I bought a 46" one for my grandson because of their recommendations. If I was starting out that is what l would buy. I would buy bigger than you think you need. The tool box "fills up" quicker than you think.

So I think I am good to go the strictly route. I called on a snap on a ss which is used and they want 2200 for it and I don't see the benefit for what I a, doing. Any thoughts
