Need help making decision about a socket set.

I'm looking into buying a set of sunex 3/8 drive metric impacts. I'm just torn whether i should buy the master set including shallows/deeps or if i should just buy the deeps. I never really use shallow sockets much but i know they will get used possibly. This socket set will just be a add on to my already existing sets of full hansen trays. I'm just tired of beating up on my chrome sockets.

If you can afford it; I always like to the have the options of all the different types of impact sockets... you always end up in tight situations where "right socket for the job" would make it so much easier to get the job done. That being said; you can always do with "what you have" but having all the options makes things many times; go so much easier! All hail to having the ability to choose; rather then few options... have all the options available to you!

If you can afford it, buy both shallow and deep.

I just got the IR 86 piece set that has shallow and deep... Ive beat the hell out of them with my Mac AW5500m impact and theyre holding up great... I was just gonna go for the shallow at first but im glad i got the big set... wasnt too bad on price either

I vote for both if you can afford it. The first time you need a shallow because your gun won't fit with a deep, you'll be glad you have them.
