I'm an auto enthusiast who enjoys working my my cars and taking on other projects with friends and family. I have a 3 car garage that is 27' deep and 39' wide, my ceilings are 11' tall. I currently have 3 vehicles. The lift I decide on will be used to work on my cars as well as eventually store a 4th.

I understand the benefits of a 2 post vs 4 post, if I do go with a 2 post i'd likely invest in wheel adapters to use when using the lift to store the 4th vehicle.

My question is, does anyone make a clearfloor 2 post that will fit my 11' ceilings? Would a 4 post take up to much room in my garage and would I hate it when working on a project? Is a bottom plate 2 post annoying to work with?

Bottum plate isn't bad unless you're removing transmission. But how often does that happen? I wouldnt worry about wheel adaptors.

I hate 4 post lifts for any kind of work. The runways always get in the way. Can't pull FWD motors easily. They **** when you have to do engine work where the car has to be in the air for part of it

Mohawk makes what you're looking for. They're made in USA and top quality, so you'll pay more for one than most competitors. But when it's holding a vehicle over your head...
