Thats not alot of air to work with. HVLP guns use a ton of air (volume not PSI).

All that means is you may need to stop and let the air compressor catch up on larger jobs.

The $19.99 gravity spray guns from harbor freight is about the est bang for your buck. They wont last you a life time of heavy use, But they do have a pretty good spray to them and a pretty good transfer rate.

If you want something a little better you should check out the Devilbiss Finishline and the Eastwood contours guns (both around $100)

I will second the Devilbiss...Ive sprayed with them right along with a 400-500 SATA and I think the devilbiss is a nice gun for the money.

I just spotted a Harbor Freight gun on sale for $9.99. With my 20% coupon it will be $7.99 #67187 20oz, Gravity Gun. What do you think of this? Will it do the job?

Required air pressure: 50-70 PSI
Air consumption: 6 CFM
Output: 200-300cc per minute
Nozzle size: 1.5mm
Cup capacity: 20 oz
