I need some help picking out a tool box for my Mom to organize and store some hand tools. She suggested this Craftsman one from Lowes https://www.lowes.com/pd/CRAFTSMAN-...Drawer-Red-Steel-Lockable-Tool-Box/1000602661

My budget is $150 with $200 max and I'm wondering if anyone knows of any higher quality ones out there similar to the Craftsman? My quick searches haven't found much and the smallest Harbor Freight box is too large.

Thanks,
Spencer

I keep all my household tools in this:

Different style of toolbox, but I like being able to carry it around the house.

Lowes and Home Depot both have a good display of tool boxes. Check their online sites and make sure you get a big enough one for all the tools you want to store. Spend enough that you get drawers with full extension slides that are rated at more than the weight you want to put in them.

Alternately, if you want to empty your wallet, find out what day the local Snap-on truck stops by your mechanic's shop and see his wares. Good quality, but expensive.
