I haven't had a problem posting photos until today. Trying to post a photo of my motorcycle from my own computer photo file and it keeps appearing upside-down. I cant find any reference for editing or flipping the pic. Can anyone give me some advise?

Tom, I have moved your thread to the Q& A section of the forum.

Many times, you can simply rotate the picture and resave it before youo upload it. Other times, it can be done opening the picture with Paint and doing the same.

Was this picture taken with a cell phone originally ?

Upload the picture in the test section and let me see if I can give you a hand.

Eric, thanks for your response. I have uploaded the picture in the Test Section as "Tom's Photo Test. I can't find any prompt that would permit rotating the pic. (BTW-I'm a computer Neanderthal). And yes, it was taken with my cell phone.

Thanks Again,
Tom B.

One of your fellow members has beat me to the punch.

Since you took the picture with your phone, that again makes me wonder. Many times picture rotation issues are with cell phones. I sometimes believe it's due to how the phone was held when the picture was taken.....

...... no computer expert either.

Tombell -iif the picture is still on your phone, try going to where you can rotate it. Rotate it left a few degrees, then right, or vice versa, then center it again. Then see if it posts here correctly.

This is the stupid procedure with an IPad for some reason. The picture will only upload with the correct orientation if you held the device a certain way when taking it, regardless of what it looks like in your photo album. Something gets lost in translation apparently.

I hate technology and am not a computer guy, just trying to help. Continuing to learn as I go myself.
