Hey folks,

Got bite on an ad I put up looking for a Baldor grinder. I need help making an offer. I know they are pricey new, but this one appears to be weathered and missing tool rests.

I want it for grinding lathe bits for my south bend 9 and cleaning up parts for my motorcycle builds. I want quality in all my tools, so a used baldor is the no brainer for a bench grinder.

Have a look and help me make this guy a fair offer! If it helps, I'm in eastern Canada and these aren't super easy to come by.

Here are the pics!

I just got a 10" Sioux grinder with stand for $125.00, and a couple months ago I picked up a 8" Dayton commercial grinder for $30 (missing wheels).

I would say if grinders are scarce near you, I would offer $50-$60. I dont see it being worth much more than that.

Wow, great pictures  Looks like it is missing the tool rests. Wheels worn. Not sure what is going on with the eye guards and what appears to be corrosion. Agree with woodstock $60 if it runs good.

Thanks guys. I offered $60.

I will let you know if I get it (and I'll post up some better pics once I get to see it in person).

if that is a 6" it would probably be gone within a day out here at $150 at least. If an 8" $250 at least. I've missed several...

$100-150 even missing rests here in the Pacific Northwest. $75 would be a very good deal.
