If you have MS Windows click on "start" in lower left corner, then click on "programs" in the drop down window. Next click on "acessories" from the next drop down window and then from the next select "paint".
When you get paint opened click on file and load the file address where you stored the picture. When your picture opens click on "image" and from the window select "sketch/skew" the window will then show..."stretch in the top portion and next to Horizontal and Vertical it will show 100%. To reduce the size you type the number of percent you'd like to reduce the pic to and click "OK" . Experiment until you get the desired size. ALWAYS reduce the Horizontal and Vertical the same % amount otherwise you'll distort the picture. I usually save the reduced picture with another name so I'll always have the original large size (with better resolution) for future use...Original file name of BEAST and reduced file mame for saves as of my recuced size oic of BEAST 1, etc.
Another easy way is to store your pictures is at
http://photobucket.com It's free and you can store your pictures there where each picture will have a unique URL address for using when you want to insert pictures in text of your forum postings, signature, etc. Photobucket has an edit feature that enables you to resize pictures. My signature provides a link to a photobucket galley of pictures for you to see the 11 year history of the evolution of my shop to give you an idea of some potential use of their storage. Also in my bio avatare of BEASE 2 is a very small reduces pic of what was originally an 8 X 11 picture.
Hope this helps
