I got a craftsman drill press with an 8 step pulley and I was trying to put it back together but the pulley on the motor was broken and I tried looking online to get a replacement but I couldn't find it anywhere.

Anyone have any ideas where I can buy another 8 step pulley? I've checked ebay and the sears website and just looking through google.

Here's the pulley I'm talking about.

I got a new 4 step pulley for my Duro drill press's Craftsman motor last Fall from Electric Motor Warehouse. Never knew C'Man presses had 8 step pulleys. Mine is a Congress Drives pulley, made up in Detroit. Google will turn up all sorts of sources for you though. McMaster-Carr and Zoro Tools could probably help you out as well. I think it ran around $30'ish, came with a sleeve/bushing to accomodate either 1/2" or 3/8" shafts, works like a champ.

That could be challenging, not a common design.

How bad is the current one broken?
Do you have a lathe?
