need help sourcing this fluor fixture -pls help!

I'm looking to see if this fixture is available in a 2 foot length. I have 20 of the 4 footers but due to ductwork I need 4 fixtures that are only 2 feet long. As the 4 foot ones have the reflector I want the 2 foot ones to match but am getting conflicting stories about their availability or even production.

You are likely SOL on that one.If you are dead set on a matching two footer,it is not overly difficult to shorten up the four footer and may be cheaper to do than a special order.Just get the tubes you want to use and check that the ballast is compatible with the shorter lamps.Personally,I would just space out the line of fixtures to make up the difference,I doubt you would ever notice the difference that two more feet of tube would make,considering the work/expense it will take.

thanks guys. Just to clear up something tfi eludes to: spacing to "take up" the 2' space. The reason I'm doing this is because I need to run the wires thru the fixture to feed the next row. With a 2' gap the inspector is jerking me around saying I need to run wire above the ceiling which is now drywalled, finished etc. So, while 2' of light isn't going to make a big difference at all it solves my wire problem. I can get regular 2' strip fixtures but I'd like the reflector so that they look the same - maybe I'm the only 1 that'll notice but anyway..

I can think of two ways to solve your problem.The first is to use a Wiremold type product-my recomendation is to use a v5785 box connector at each fixture and v500 raceway to connect them. This will give you a clean appearing raceway to run the wiring.
Another alternative is to run 1/2" emt conduit-either bend an offset at each end of the conduit and use a standard emt connector at the fixture,or use emt offset *******.Paint either method to match.
I doubt that you will find a 2' industrial fixture in stock-and special ordered fixtures can take a while and are usually a bit pricy.
